Tumbar Pasta: A Taste of Italy's Finest

Ingredients:

  • 200g spaghetti or rigatoni pasta
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • Dry herbs (oregano, rosemary), a pinch
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Begin by boiling a pot of salted water and cooking the pasta until al dente according to package instructions. Remember to reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until golden brown, about 2 minutes.
  3. Add tomato sauce and tomato paste to the pan, stirring well. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes before adding a pinch of dry herbs for extra flavor.
  4. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and transfer it to the pan with the tomato sauce. Toss the pasta until evenly coated, adding reserved pasta water as needed to achieve desired consistency.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and finish off with a drizzle of olive oil.
  6. Serve the Tumbar Pasta hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese for an extra touch of Italian authenticity.
